King and Queen Olympus 38
Each
year, the Ball Captain selects two Krewe members to serve as King and Queen
of the Krewe. The King and Queen are presented at the end of the Mardi Gras
Ball, and return to reign over the following year's Mardi Gras Ball. Being selected
as King or Queen is the highest honor the Krewe can bestow on its members. Being
selected as royalty is not necessarily gender specific.
